| Biography: |
Bob and his wife Lisa moved to Ely from the Twin Cities in 1993. They were looking for a good community where they could raise their young family and found it in Ely. The family lives on the White Iron Chain of Lakes and his children attend school in the Ely School District. Family trips into the BWCA are a regular event. Bob is a graduate of the University of Minnesota's Carlson Business School and a 26 year veteran of the Minnesota Department of Revenue. He is currently focusing on real estate in the Arrowhead region. Bob's ties to the Iron Range include his mother's family from Virginia and other family members that live on Lake Vermilion. Bob is an active volunteer in the community and is serving as a board member of Greenstone Public Art. For several years he coordinated the "Snow Sculpting Symposium" that is a part of the Ely Winter Festival.
