Biography:  Kris and his wife Sue have lived in Ely since June of 2000, having moved up here from Minneapolis. Prior to that, they spent many summer weekends at Sue’s family’s place on Burntside Lake. In the winter, they split their time between their house in the woods overlooking Cedar Lake and skiing in Colorado. They have three grown children, one of which, Alex, moved back to Ely after two years of college in Minneapolis. They also share their lives with a yellow lab named Daisy.
